"Tale of two Families"

If the "Tale of Two Families" were done in the 00's the situation would have been completely different. We all know that discrimination was very bad back then, but it has gotten better. Before I even started to read the story I knew it was going to be the way that it was. Mainly because of the time period. I don't think discrimination is bad like that any more.

    Hi Amber,
    I agree that the world has changed. While discrimination still occurs, so does affirmative action. While there are minorities that struggle to make ends meet, there are also very successful families too. It would be interesting to see how PBS might change this story if it was remodeled for 2012.
